Kia Nurse

Kia Nurse has taken the Canadian basketball world by storm. After four incredibly successful seasons with the University of Connecticut Huskies, Hamilton, Ontario’s Kia Nurse was picked 10th overall in the WNBA 2018 draft by the New York Liberty. In her short WNBA career, Kia has already been named an All-Star starter in just her second season. She also won the 2019 WNBL Championships with the Canberra Capitals in Australia. Now with the Phoenix Mercury, Kia has her sights set on a WNBA Championship.

Kia also remains a veteran leader of the Canadian National Women's program having made her first appearance at age 16.

Off the court, Kia’s NBA and NCAA broadcast work with TSN, as well as significant partnerships with Jordan, Tangerine, Uninterrupted, the Toronto Raptors, Bell Canada and more, have elevated her profile and made her a staple in the Canadian sport landscape.
